NSF Materials Research Science and Engineering Center (MRSEC) Invited Speaker

Our NSF sister organization on campus, Center for Dynamics and Control of Materials, is hosting a speaker to which all NASCENT participants are invited. Dr. Sebastien Lounis, Co-founder of Cyclotron Road will join us to give a talk entitled ‘A Path to Impact: Stories about Scientists Using Entrepreneurship to Bring Their Ideas to the World’. Cyclotron Road is a fellowship program that supports leading entrepreneurial scientists as they advance a project with the potential for global impact. Since 2015, they have awarded more than $13 million to 41 fellows.
