Ramin Sabbagh, graduate research and teaching assistant at Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. His main research in PhD studies will be dynamics systems and control, fault detection and diagnosis and big data analytics on semiconductor manufacturing data. During his MS, he focused on semantic classification of manufacturing suppliers based on the text on their website as well as clustering unseen suppliers into different categories. His broad research interests include data analytics, optimization, statistics, and smart manufacturing. He is a member of ASME and INFORMS. Before joining UT Austin, he got his MS Degree in Manufacturing Technology Management at Texas State University and BS in Industrial Engineering at Sharif University of Technology.
